This is the first of my reposts from the old blog. Originally located here, it was posted last fall but originally written quite some time ago. Poem behind the cut.. 

This was written back in December, but I realized I never posted it on my other blog. It was an experiment in daily creative-writing. I was undecided of whether or not I liked it enough to share with the public. I've finally made up my mind, so here it is behind the cut... 

This website has been a bit of a secret work-in progress. Since the beginning of the year, I have received a lot of unexpected outside interest in my writing.  Even though this is still only a personal blog, and I am far from the well-known travel writer I would one day love to be, I decided to redesign my webspace.
